In the door the tabs should be 12 oclock and 6 oclock straight. Then put in new filter. Cut off tabs off old filter to move them anti clockwise For filter on the roof its 3 oclock and 9oclock (horizontal) For door filter its 12 oclock and 6 oclock (vertical)

This is due to the little plastic piece in the housing unit wearing out. Fairly easy to replace.

Thanks for the video, I have a GE pfe28kskbss which only issue is the ice maker in the door does not make ice very quickly. I check and the ice is filled up in ice maker so I run test 99 to cycle upper door ice maker and it works great and fills up with water. I watched your video and all tests you ran I ran on mine and the results were very similar to yours except that test 0028 for FZ Evaporator TheMistor Test comes back for me as ---- and you had 07.70 , also test # 0096 FZ cooling test returns -0000 for me and you had -0324, I double checked these again and same results. Can you tell me why test 0028 coming up with dashes means and/or what I need to replace. I found another website showed a table with test option #0037 for Ice Cabinet Thermistor Test which mine shows 2056 and a few hours later was 1514, not sure if this helps, just thought I would share. Thanks.

So is there no water line connected to the ice maker?

Bio-film. It’s dust build up + living bacteria in the environment. These bacteria clump together and you end up with this mucus like substance in your AC drain system. AC condenser fins used to be made from copper which has anti bacterial properties that prevents the build up of bio-film. Today’s ACs are made from cheap aluminum which doesnt have anti bacterial properties so you get these jelly like build up faster.
